altFerrari arrives in ValeEchoes of a Formula 1 engine rebounded off the walls of Valencia buildings on Wednesday morning as Ferrari arrived in the Spanish city for this weekend’s World Finals, which is being staged at the Ricardo Tormo circuit 2010 sees the Scuderia host its Finali Mondiali event in Valencia for the second consecutive year, with the event having officially closed Ferrari’s racing season for the past 18 years.

 On Wednesday, Paseo de la Alameda was closed off in order to allow for a unique parade, which included its 2009 Formula 1 car with reserve driver Luca Badoer at the wheel.


Also touring were a California, an F430 GT2 car, a 458 Italia and the 599XX and 599HGTE models, with local Álvaro Barba and Maurizio Mediani joining the Brazilian for driving duties.

Following the parade, the three drivers were greeted by city Mayor Rita Barberà for a photocall, with the backdrop including a F2008 Formula 1 chassis and all before mentioned cars remaining on display for the rest of the day.
