Sahara India on Wednesday announced its association with tennis ace Sania Mirza and as part of it she will don 'Sahara' logo while playing at tournaments.

Paris: Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani doubles partner Aisam ul Haq Qureshi have been awarded the 2010 Grand Prix of Peace & Sports at a glittering event held in Monaco.

The two players, who are also known as Indo-Pak Express, were given the award in the presence of Crown Prince of Monaco on Thursday night for their role in promoting peaceful relations between India and Pakistan.

Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi sealed a semifinal place in the World Tour finals for the first time in their careers after beating Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman 6-4, 6-4 to grab the last available spot.They had qualified for the season-ending finale after six years and have cleared the round-robin stage for the first time, having failed in 2003 and 2004.

Playing like the Roger Federer of old, the 16-time Grand Slam champion easily beat Andy Murray 6-4, 6-2 at the ATP World Tour Finals. The second-ranked Federer stretched his record to 2-0 at the season-ending tournament for the top eight players in the world, but has still not advanced to the semifinals from Group B.
